Licensed NYS Psychologist
People see a psychologist for many good reasons, often because they want to talk through a problem with someone impartial who will not judge them. Going to therapy does not mean you are “crazy.” It means you are choosing to deal with a problem rather than letting it get worse. That takes courage, and the rewards are usually worth it.
Reach out to set up a brief introductory call. It is not a therapy session. It allows you to decide whether you would like to begin treatment, and lets me learn enough about you to know if I am the right person to help. If I am not, I will provide referrals to professionals who are better suited to your needs.
What you discuss in therapy is confidential. Limited exceptions include a risk of serious harm to yourself or others, suspected child abuse, and a court order.
The best way to reach me is by phone or text at (646) 239-1397. Texting is fine for initial contact and scheduling. I do not provide therapy by text, email, or chat. Because these are not fully secure, please do not include private health information.
Call, text, or email, or use the contact form on my site. I’m easy to get in touch with, and I will do my best to get back to you ASAP!
