Confidentiality

What you share in therapy is confidential and protected by law and professional ethics. Limited exceptions include a risk of serious harm to yourself or others, suspected child abuse, and a court order. We will review these at the start of treatment.

Notice of Privacy Practices

My Notice of Privacy Practices describes how your health information may be used and disclosed, and how you can get access to it. You will receive a copy when you begin treatment, and you can ask for one at any time.

Email, text, and this website

You may text me to make initial contact or to schedule an appointment. Email and text messages are not fully secure, so please do not send private health information that way.

The contact form on this website sends your message to me by email. Please keep private health details out of it; I will reply using the contact method you choose. Map views are provided by Google, whose own privacy policy applies.

Emergencies

I am not able to respond to emergencies by voicemail, text, email, or the contact form. If you are in crisis, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), call 911, or go to the nearest emergency room.
